12 year old single malt from the northerly Pulteney Distillery, which was distilled back in May 2008. It initially aged in refill bourbon barrels, before being switched over to a fresh sherry butt for 33 months, then eventually bottled in April 2021.652 bottles were produced.
Nose: Roast chestnuts, flaky pastry, honeycomb, and cinnamon.
Palate: Softly salty, with balancing hints of dried fruit and baking spice.
Finish: Another helping of baking spice, now with hazelnut cream sweetness in support.
