A 2006-vintage single malt from indie bottler Hunter Laing, made at a mystery Orkney distillery and matured in a single refill hogshead for 15 years, before being bottled in 2021 as part of its First Editions range. Aromas of salted caramel, cookie dough and garden herbs fill the nose, complemented by notes of milk chocolate, sea salt, pink peppercorns and buttery crumpets throughout the palate.

Finish: Hot and spicy at first but relaxes to a buttery finish.
